We were appalled and devastated to learn about the horrific terrorist attacks in Jerusalem over the weekend. Friday night worshippers were met with violence at the close of International Holocaust Remembrance Day as a gunman killed seven people and injured more. That attack marked one of the deadliest incidents in Israel since 2011. On Saturday morning, a 13-year-old gunman wounded two people in broad daylight.

The JOC Ambassador Program condemns these attacks and the hateful ideologies that inspired them. There is no place for heinous beliefs that aim to harm and destroy the Jewish people.

Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones. We pray that the memory of those who passed may be a blessing. We wish that Hashem grant the injured improved health and strength as they recover.
